Designer/Artist Dax Kauser to Design for Coach!

Dax Kauser. Marine. Designer. Artist. Student (Senior graduating from CCAD). We are sure there are many other terms that help describe who he is - but the newest title: Coach Mens Designer -- is the one we are most excited about, for it has been in the making for a long time!

We were introduced to Dax by a good mutual friend and also a Marine, Sean Grevencamp (video director for most music videos that come out of Columbus Ohio). If you haven't been around many Marines, they are a different breed, which is a piece of what makes this designer/artist a little different. Most designers are opinionated, strong willed, driven, focused -- but a Marine Designer... that's just a different breed of human all together.

Dax inspires, tells a story, describes who he is, and pushes the limits of mens fashion with his new collection: 'The Nomad Collection'! We recently caught a preview of the collection at a photo shoot for his senior project - which you can catch on the runway at CCAD's yearly Fashion Show on Friday May 10th.

We assume that he will not rely on luck to take him anywhere. We are sure that this Designer will make a name for himself! Congratulations on your new collection, graduating from CCAD, and the position at Coach NYC!

DJ Rob Stylz Named ColumBEST DJ for 614 Magazine!

Need a day off? Rob Stylz could probably use a month long vacation! Working 6/7 days a week for the majority of the last couple years - no one can say he doesn't work at his craft! Stylz, the name most fans choose to refer to him as - has been a staple of the Columbus bar/nightclub/karaoke DJ scene for years!

His hard work and dedication is paying off. Stylz was recently named 614 Magazines ColumBEST local DJ for 2012 and his Wednesday night karaoke (9pm) at Bernard's Tavern was also named one of Columbus's best! Although his karaoke night got the shine with the 614 nod, he is probably most well known by his fans in Central Ohio for his ridiculous video mix show, which you can catch on Friday Nights at 10pm at The Ugly Tuna Saloona! This is quite the accomplishment considering the amount of hungry, talented DJ's - and ever-changing stream of newcomers that circulate the Ohio State campus and Short North bar/night scene!

The Gallery Hop is a pretty dope event that happens on the first Saturday of every month in The Short North Arts District in Columbus Ohio.
